You'll prefer using PSHBTNFLD and PSHBTNCHC I think.  You have to make a 2
digit field, and then all of the pushbuttons you want (including the
"E>xit" type-labels, where the mnemonic is active).  Then, just monitor
the contents of the pushbutton field.   

(look, I know I keep saying this over and over, but if you want an example
to look at, look at:

There is an example I did there, including a screen shot and the dds and
CL.  When you see how easy it works, you'll see how to do it in rpg too. 
btw, making a page up button, a page down button, and/or a help button is
easy too.
