Hello Neil,

How many releases does it take for IBM to get the idea that this panel should
default to I/O information? I
remember complaining about this on ESP V2R3. I guess I wasn't vociferous
enough! Every site I know hates the
supplied default. They all order the PTF to 'fix' it. How many sites need to
order it before the component
owner will wake up?

Even when using ILE the I/O information is more use than the scoping
information. I cannot believe any
developer would complain if IBM 'un-broke' it.

I would appreciate it if one of the IBMers on this list would notify the owner
of the Display Open Files part
of the DM component and get them to fix it permanently since the official
channel doesn't seem to be working
well.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
