The advantage of writing the CGI output to a table is this:

1. You can pull the data into any cells in your Excel table.
2. You can embed Excel formulas in your output.
3. You can have Excel AUTOMATICALLY pull the data every time you open the
spreadsheet!

I'm sure there are more.
