There was in fact a DDM for pc's that goes quite aways back... Not know
by many folks... Was NOT sold by 400 division, but, networking group I
think.... It may even still be around.. I saw it working at an 
installation a few years ago... Seemed to fly right along... I was
always
surprised that it never made much of a showing..... It beat the living
hell
out of most of that client server stuff at the time... If memory serves
me
you could get a version for db2 or 0S/400, so, the same software ran for
both big iron or 400's.... I'll root around in annoucement letters later
today to see if I can find that sucker.... I think that this is tied in 
around the time that they gave OS/400 data base, it's own name....DB400

I think one of the DB400 developers used to be on this list....
