A hidden field is not actually sent to the display. It's held in the
subfile record, so that you can save things like keys or original values
there for use during later processing. Non-displayed fields are actually
output to the display, but with a display attribute of x'20, if memory
serves me, that causes them to be invisible. They occupy space (no mass
though), whereas hidden fields do not. PAGSIZ is probably a value that some
other programmer decided to put there. It is not required, but it was
probably convenient to declare it in the display file.
