I've seen UPS backups do this to dumb and PC type monitors. A weird
problem developed at a customer where the users office was right next to the
warehouse. Her terminal was placed right next to the wall that seperated
her office and the whse. On the other side was pallets of metal strapping,
6 feet high. I guess the strapping put off a nice magnetic field.
