Chris,

I'm not familier with any freeware, but I understand that the Flex/Edit
package that's being marketed by Aldon should do what you're looking for
AND they've just put the TCP/IP connectivity version in beta.  I've got a
copy come to me to review this week for AS400 Magazine, but from what I'm
hearing it's a fairly decent package...  Call Allison at 800-825-5858 and
tell her I sent ya and she'll know what you're looking for...
