If that message did not have a "not" in it, then you should be OK.  You can 
check
with SST.  To get in there, best to be QSECOFR, use the strsst command and 
choose
option 3.  You want the disk protection display and that will show which drives
are currently protected and which (if any) are not.

Yup.  In the displays above in strsst, you will see them refered to as units.
The unit number is sequentially assigned by the system as disk drives are added
to the hardware configuration.

Then by all means, use SST to check it out.
