Yep, 'Units' are disk drives.  It sounds as if a full parity set had a
problem and the OS corrected it.  You should be able to find more
information in the error logs.  

Do you have Service Director running?  If you do the system will contact
IBM Service if the error is serious or repeating.  If not you should
call for hardware service if the messages repeat.
