That is not what I mean.  I can get a connection to my AS400 but It will not
ever let me enter a user name if the DNS is not correct.  This count be the
nameserver on the 400 or the nameserver on the PC.


For instance.  My ISP DNS Server was down last week.  I could not FTP to my
machine.  I was able to connect but not enter a user name.  The AS400 was
trying to reverse my IP address (1.2.3.4) to a domain name
(Mysystem.as400.com).  This failed because of the DNS being unavailable.
