Inactive job timeout

Greetings,

I have the  QINACTITV system value set for 120 minutes and QINACTMSGQ as   
*ENDJOB on our V4R3 machine.  Lately, some of the green screen terminals   
are not being ended as they should be-when I check to see what's up with   
them, I see that they have been signed on for some task, and then   
switched to an alternate job and this is the way that they have been   
left, with an active session up and a disconnected session in the   
background.  Are sessions like this not supposed to be affected by the   
job time-out parameters, or is there something that I have missed that   
would make these jobs end the way that they should?  It seems to me that   
this was not an issue until after we upgraded to V4R3 from V3R7 a few   
months ago, but that may be just a coincidence.
