As best I can tell, it nothing more than a common dial line... The phone(s) company is playing games with these folks I think. The reason for all this mess is that we are dealing with two different phone companies.... My guys are using a local telephone co-op but their branch is located in Bell South district which is surrounded by the local co-op... Bell says, if the call is made from their area, it's 38 "air miles" back to home office, but if the call is made from home office, there is only 9 "air miles" into Bell South area, hince the MUCH cheaper rate.... Sounds really stupid, but that seems to be a way of life dealing with multi-phone companies.... This is the sort of thing that makes life a real PITA..... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
