| AS/400 vs NT is not necessarily a be a battle of
user interfaces features. We have been working with AS/400 solutions using
Visual Basic as a front end for years, using the AS/400 for a stable database
server which also runs intense processing of data. We are now expanding this to
include Java GUI clients and expanding our use of the server (AS/400) to
implement java as well as ebusiness. Why? We believe the AS/400 is more
reliable, offers more scalability, and less administration than NT and flavors
of Unix. Luther
