Booth, I still haven't found anything better for heads down keying than a boring green screen. But as the AS/400 leaves accounting, heads down keying is -not- what is being done. I agree with you that a more robust interface is desired. IMHO, the browser interface will be the look of choice for these users. Maybe that's why IBM is pushing JAVA, XML and Linux in their developer works radio ads. Our new development dollars aren't being allocated to add any bells to 5250 displays.
