For Exabyte we have the device defined as 3422 model A01. Exactly how we 
arrived at
those has escaped me but I suspect that that is what the manual said or what 
tech
support said. In looking at the descriptions, I cannot tell where the *DEVD 
parm is?
but by its name it is refering back to the device type (Resource Name) and Model
number, so if you can get ahold of someone perhaps there is another 
device/model that
might yield higher speeds?
