QFileSvr.400 file system authority problem

I'm trying to learn how to use the IFS to share files among as400's.
I've done the following:

mkdir '/QFileSvr.400/systemx'
       <get CPCA083 Directory created>
wrklnk
       <I use option 5 on QFileSvr.400 to get to next level>
       <I get systemx (type=DIR), but I'm not authorized to use it, get
CPFA09C - Not authorized to object>

I'm using Qsecofr for this session.  How do I correct the authority
problem?  What authority is required of the objects from systemx?

Any help appreciated!
