Hi Dare, I seem to remember something to the effect that the Model 150 Software was purchased with a different licensing agreement which allowed one to transfer the software with the hardware to a new owner. Thus if you could find a used 150 it may be a bargain, since OS/400, etc. would be included. On the other hand, I may have mis-remembered something.
