If the measure of how smart you are is how much you agree with other folks,
your brilliant!  We have developed a Net.Commerce site that does exactly
like you are suggesting. The back end system does not slow down the web
site at all.  We did not need the MQ series because we set up a separate
line (Token Ring running only SNA) to run the data queue interface through.
While the SNA link opens up a hole through the firewall, we protected that
by making sure the mode only uses a limited access user profile, and did
not configure any other interfaces for it.  Works great.
