Brad,

Well I gotta go with the Timer.  I have had crummy or worse luck with Motorola
Bit Smasher ISDN equipment but it definitely sounds like either your Bitsmoker
has a call duration timer going off (or the call accounting timer maxes out and
the thing chokes), or your telco has a limit on ISDN call time.  Either is
possible but personally I'd blame Motorola (even though my personal policy 
toward
the phone company is the same as the IRS towards us tax paying citizens: Guilty
until proven innocent!)  Understand I'm not beating Motorola in general just
their ISDN junk.
