Michele,

QLUS is "Logical Unit Services".  It's a very important system job which
takes care of a number of under-the-covers things for SNA communications,
and maybe some other stuff that I haven't noticed.  Do a WRKJOB QLUS on your
customer's system and see if there's a joblog indicating what's causing it
to fail.  Also look in QSYSOPR message queue and the QHST log to see if
there are messages after he IPL's indicating any problems.  I suspect you'll
need to call IBM to find out how to fix it - you might have to go so far as
reloading OS/400 on the machine (yuck!).  Good luck with it!
