The "hack", search for the default user name in the registry.  (On win95/98 use 
regedit).  Change it to who you want it to be or delete it completely.  If you 
delete it, you will get a signon box with a blank user id.  The first one typed 
will be saved in the registry again.

nope.  tried that.  The user has few actions available to her through Ops 
Navigator.  We do not configure any at all for users that have no reason 
to be in  the machine beyond their few menu options or Visual Age 
client/server jobs.
