Tony, I don't get these errors at all. I used to get communications errors when doing a verify but I re-installed and they went away. As background, I do not use VARPG, the debugger or the screen designer. May I suggest that you do the Microsoft fix? Remove the product via the control panel then re-install a clean copy.
