I think you might be misinterpreting the purpose of the jobd - which is a
set of attributes for a new job, not attributes for the current job.

If you use different jobds for different jobqs, printers etc, and cant
hardcode it into the user-profile, you need to use the CHGJOB command
instead.

If you want to softcode the CHGJOB according to location, you could put the
CHGJOB command into a dataarea instead (eg "locationa") , and use
RTVDTAARA/CALL QCMDEXC.
