We have been attempting to get an ODBC connection to our AS/400 to run so we
can access AS/400 data from MS IIS. Keep gettign the following error:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01ad' ActiveX component can't create
object /mark/as400smp.asp, line 43
Have searched both IBM's web site and the MIDRANGE-L archives and with
everything we have read it "appears" we did everything correctly.
The Asp line in question is marked below...
Set OBJdbConnection = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
OBJdbConnection.Open "DSN=AS400;UID=WEBODBC;PWD=KK400MIS" <-----THIS IS
LINE 43
OBjdbConnection.CommandTimeout=0
SQLQuery = "SELECT * FROM WEB.QCUSTCDT"
Set RSCustomerList = OBJdbConnection.Execute(SQLQuery) +
Any ideas on what we have MISSED!!!!
