Angela,

  We had a similar problem when setting up SMTP.  If the MS Exchange Server
and the AS/400 our on the same internal segment than the CHGSMTPA  FIREWALL
parameter needs to be set to NO.  Also, check that all of your TCP/IP exit
points exist.  Our problem turned out to be a corrupt 5769-TC1 installation.
The command to check your exit points is WRKREGINF.  There are several
_MSF_xxxx exit points that will be listed.  There should be some QSYS as
well as QTCP programs listed in each MSF exit point.  Hope this helps.

Add the routing entry for the NT server we use for outlook?  If so, we tried
that and still nothing comes through.

We have added a a routing entry in CFGTCP option # 2
and it works
