Carl,

one of the things we've done is to copy a file to the IFS, then use any
one of SEVERAL CHEAP encryption(encluding PGP) for windows/DOS/eunochs and
then just attach it to a email... 

McAfee office tools suite which includes PGP...

Caveats:  make sure of the cssid you're using and best to make sure you
have only zoned and character data in the file...yeah, you can always FTP
BIN ....
