Hey,

        If you go 400 <--> 400 I would use ZIP and the built in VPN support
of OS/400....

        If you go 400 <--> PC Then either ZIP and SSL, or ZIP and VPN,
depending on
        just what level of security the site and data needs,  There are a
number of good
        PC Products out there to work with the 400's VPN, but I like the IRE
SafeNet/Soft-PK
        product best at the moment.  It seems to be the least impacted by
DSL, NAT type issues.
