if it happens each day at the same time, check for a scheduled job - you 
dont by any chance do a journal change or a save while active or some other 
database activity around then do you ?

If that sheds no light check the history log and the SYSOPR message queue 
to see if you can identify anything else starting aroudn then or slightly 
earlier.
