It is important that whoever tells you pros cons one conference vs. the other 
has in fact experienced both, because both do have a lot to offer that is 
highly technical & educational.

Both conferences have a lot of repeat where some presentation is developed 
that there is a big need for & the class is offered year after year in which 
the only change is that it is updated to be accurate to the latest release of 
OS/400.  Thus if you can get to the web site & look at LAST conference 
information, the course content information will be 90% accurate.

In terms of bang for your employer buck, the IBM Education Card is probably a 
better deal for your education than the 2 choices they gave you.
