        Subject: *SAVF - Compressed?

I have not had to deal with the issue of *SAVF files for a while,
but I need to
review some old turf. Unfortunately, my memory ain't what it used
to be (but to
        paraphrase Pogo, it never was).

Anyhow, I did a SAVLIB to a *SAVF and expected the disk space
required for the
save file to be less than the original library, but it is not. I
have searched
several manuals (and the archives for this list) but can find no
reference to
tell me what file size to expect. Am I missing an option, or is
that just the
        way it is?

        Phil
