If you are using IBM CallPath for OS/400 (5716-CP3), this product will be
deleted. You must have upgraded to either 5769-CP4 or 5648-C69. There are
also programming changes that must be made to use the new CallPath product.
New API's have been introduced to setup and end the CallPath session.

Also, there is a bug in the installation process that will delete 5769-CP4
from the system. You must restore it after the install is completed.

Denise,

We moved 4 machines from V4R4 to V4R5 with very few problems. I did have
one
machine that was a real oddball that actually took 3 attempts to get the
upgrade
done but I think that is another story.

Our legacy applications had absolutely no problems. Even our Domino stuff
didn't even blink. I did have some issues with applications that deal with
the
SQL interfaces - Showcase Warehouse Builder and Lotus LEI. We use SQL with
other things and other third party products so I wouldn't characterize it as
an
across the board issue.

Other than that it was a breeze. HTH

Hi everyone,
We're going to upgrade to v4r5 (from v4r4) this afternoon, and I was
wondering if anyone had encountered any problems (other than changing
QDEVNAMING from *S36 to *Normal).

If so, any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Denise Bumgarner
