There is a system value.

When there is some disruption at a work station, 
and the user tries to get back in pretty soon,
OS/400 tries to recover the user task to where the disruption left off,
assuming the software is written to work with that reality.

You can change the system value to say ... if we get disconnected, just end 
it ... minimum time allowed for recovery.
