Tahnks Guys

After reading this message, we have looked at this again.
This is what we have come up with, set user message queues to *HOLD in user
profiles. This allows nultiple jobs to be assigned the same user MSGQ, but
never displays messages unless a DSPMSG *command is used. Thefore CPF2451 is
not issued.

We have written a message program to display mesages from Queue fo Hand Held
Terminals, so in initial program user messages can be displayed using this
program if HH device, otherwise the DSPMSG *Command can be used.

Hope this may be usefull to some others out there.

Cheers Nick

On sign on if a user is already signed on at another session, we get a

CPF2451 Message queue &1 is allocated to another job.

Normaly not a problem, but users just ignore so why show it.

We are using hand Held Terminals, they have been set to only show the last
21 characters of display.

The above message is a little unfriendly. Anyone know of a way to stop it.

We also have problems with following screen.

                       Attempt to Recover Interactive Job
                                                             System:
AWH400

Previous interactive job was interrupted due to a device error at the
 work station.

 Select one of the following:

      1. Attempt to recover previous interactive job

     90. Sign off previous interactive job

Any ideas.
