Hi Dmitri, CA has an option under Appearance, Display Setup, Sound to make a sound when an inactive session screen is updated, but I didn't see anything about bringing it to the foreground. I use a telnet client, TN3270 (see www.sdisw.com -- I'm not affiliated, I just really like their product), which has an option to bring the session to the foreground when it's updated by the host. hth, Peter Dow Dow Software Services, Inc. 909 425-0194 voice 909 425-0196 fax ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dimitri Efimov" <defimov@wiese.com.pe> To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2001 12:21 PM Subject: RE: How make CA window active? > Exacty, U got the point! > > Dmitri Efimov > > -----Mensaje original----- > De: Steve Richter [mailto:srichter@AutoCoder.com] > Enviado el: Jueves, 24 de Mayo de 2001 01:42 p.m. > Para: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > Asunto: Re: How make CA window active? > > > Do you mean you want to bring the 5250 ca window to the foreground? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dimitri Efimov <defimov@wiese.com.pe> > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> > Date: Thursday, May 24, 2001 2:25 PM > Subject: How make CA window active? > > > >We need to make emulator (Client Acess Express) window active on > user PC > >from AS iteractive process. > > > >In other words, if interactive proces sent an attention message, > we have > to > >be sure that operator saw it (user can have othe applicatin active > in this > >moment: Excel , etc.) > > > >Any ideas? > > > >Tnaks a lot, > > > >Dmitri Efimov > > > >Banco Wiese Sudameris > >+--- > >| This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > >| To submit a new message, send your mail to > MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > >| To subscribe to this list send email to > MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > >| To unsubscribe from this list send email to > MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > >| Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: > david@midrange.com > >+--- > > > > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: > david@midrange.com > +--- > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
