Have them send you the copy of their output log.  OVRDBF OUTPUT TOFILE
(.../...) when they do FTP.  See if you can see if they are fat fingered.
Sometimes I hope I get someone illiterate versus someone with knowledge.
The illiterate ones will follow instructions while the knowledgeable ones
skip certain steps, (like quote).

Hi all,

This one has me stumped. Many of our clients FTP files to us and then
execute a remote command (Quote rcmd xxxx). One client who shall remain
nameless, gets an error whenever they try to use the remote command. It
complains about the syntax of the rcmd command. They are on V4.4. We are on
V4.5. We do have another client on V4.4 who does exactly the same thing
with
complete success.

Any ideas?
