Obviously, YMMV applies here.

15 PMR's?!?!? What the heck are you doing, Rob?

We are such a vanilla shop that, aside from our development boxes having the
compilers and development tools, we have no LPPs on our branch boxes. I guess
it can't get much safer than that, eh?

I use it so often that I couldn't afford the $250/hr. For example, on this
email alone, I listed 15 pmr's open since January. If I spent 1 hour on
each that would be 15 * $250 = $3,750. And, buddy, some of them have spent
a lot more than an hour. I especially like the one that I haven't been
able to print BOL's for almost a month. This is making me real popular
with the users.

I agree that the support is excellent.

Why does everyone keep saying "I wouldn't run without it". If I never
use it -- why should I pay $1500/year for it?!

If an emergency comes up, I can still get help from them! Sure, I have
to pay (approx) $250/hr if I need help -- but based on my past experience,
this is still DRAMATICALLY CHEAPER than $1500/yr.

So why does everyone say "I wouldn't run without it"???? Unless you use
it a lot, it makes perfect sense to run without it!
