Make sure the Client Access Host Server for remote commands is running on your AS400. Under Netstat it is AS-RMTCMD or port 8475. If this is not showing up, issue the command STRHOSTSVR SERVER(*RMTCMD) The error message tell me that the server job is not active there for the PC cannot make the socket connection. Christopher K.
