I have my DDS file set up properly, the problem is when I transfer the file
from the AS/400 to the PC, Client Access inserts an additional space between
the fields. (Running RPG IV)

You need to tell us what the "spec" is? Comma delimited?
The translate from lower to upper is easy also. RPG III or
RPG IV?
