Dan, >My normal method for going through email is to read them in the order >received. My normal method is to let the filters segregate the email into separate folders, and sort the posts into threads. I advance through one folder at a time, in thread order. I have a separate tree pane open which shows me at a glance how many more unread messages (if any) exist in the thread. If there are some, I don't bother to key a reply until I've read the others. This will actually be much more useful now, without the time lag of posts. I much prefer to read messages in thread order -- it keeps the continuity better. Doug
