We are on V4R4 - and yes that is Hell with a "P" 1. Normally send mail using the SNDDST command, this was working up to a few weeks ago. 2. MSF jobs do not start upon the start of the SMTP server anymore! 3. Until we go to V4R5, we cannot call IBM, non supported release = lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ 4. WE used the strmsf commmand and got a backlog of snddst out, however it stopped working for the following reasons. 5. Any new messages want to call an exit point program in library Qnotes, we tried to put notes on our as/400 many moons ago, decided against it and uninstalled. Reason code 04. 04 - Exit point program QANIADDR in library QNOTES for exit point QIBM_QZMFMSF_ADR_RSL failed in the MSF job. 6. We started the journalling but that tells you nothing too. 7. I will try to add the Dump debug exit point as explained in the TCP book. But why is the QNOTES program in my exit point? Can I take it out ? Substitute?? We are current on PTF's and plan on going to V4R5 on soon. Thanks for advice you can give! ` _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com
