Denis, As long as you are willing to write the script the FTP client that comes with the AS/400 will do batch FTP. You can search this list's archives for details. As for TrailBlazer, I have not used their FTP client. However, some years ago the company I worked for transmitted insurance claims for hospitals to payers. For small rural hospitals this cash flow from insurance claims was often needed to meet payroll - so this was a process we tried to make as reliable and as streamlined as possible. We were creating the files on the AS/400, and then downloading them to a PC and sending to the payers. I tried to implement ZMod from TrailBlazer to take the PC out of the equation. However, while it worked fine for most it continually had reliability issues when sending to BCBS. Since Blue Cross processed Medicare for Oklahoma they were our biggest send. TrailBlazer was unable to get it to work reliably and we finally abandoned it. Like I said, this was only one of the transmissions - the others worked fine. And I'm sure that the product has gone through a few revisions during this time. My recommendation is to have some good scenarios designed and get the product for a trial period and then run it through those scenarios to make sure that it works for you.
