Chuck, my remarks were intended to be neither toxic nor hateful.  I didn't
suggest America should retaliate with nuclear weapons.  Only that it could.
What I said was that this incident has completely removed any vestiges of
credibility that these extremist organizations might have had, and pretty
much opened the door for any retaliatory measures the U.S. government should
decide to take.

Please don't put words in my mouth.  I don't recommend we do anything other
than have faith in our leadership that they will make the proper choices,
and that we pray for those who have been lost and injured.

I just wanted to make my position clear, lest Chuck's complete misreading
and distortion of my remarks stand.  I'll drop the thread now.
