You will want to look for codes like these in the "Problem Analysis Repair
& Parts" guide for whatever system you have. If the box is fairly new you
can get them from the Installation & Service Library. Goto
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v5r1/hwpdf/index.htm

It prompts you for a version selection either V4R5 or V5R1.

However, for the Model 170 copy I have here.....

"Contact was lost with the device indicated. Do not power off the system.
Perform LIC-PIP13 on page 4-44"

The PIP indicates that "A disk unit seems to have stopped communicating
with the system"

Oh - and yea I would be ready to call 800-IBMSERV or whomever does hardware
maintenance on the system.

One of my clients has SRC A6XX 0244 in the display panel - any idea what
that is? The system is down, and the XX is slowly incrementing...
