Jim, Scott

OUTSTANDING CATCHES...! Great articles...

(Seems sorta funny this qualifies as "news" given how long this has been
happening with Microskunk and the 400, or rather the "rumored" use of a 400
out-sourcing company by M$.)

| Here is a another, similar story:
|
| Interesing how often FreeBSD suddenly is coming up in the Midange-L
| mailing list, isn't it?
|
| The story that you're referring to states that "Microsoft offers
| disparaging
| remarks about open-source solutions". That's not really true. Microsoft
| has never made disparaging remarks about FreeBSD. Microsoft's remarks
| have all been against the GPL licensed products such as Linux.
|
| Here's an article that touches on that.
|
| IMHO, Microsoft has tried elimining both OS/400 and FreeBSD from their
| company, but Windows just isn't able to replace them. It's just not
| robust enough.
