Bob,

I know about rules etc. for modern mail readers. Problem is, I don't use
modern mail readers. I spend a lot of time on "other peoples" computers.
It has been my practice for the last few years to simply use a browser
based mail reader (served up by notes), because the interface is simple
consistant and I don't ever have to worry about installing any software on
someone elses pc. I can get to my mail from anywhere and I don't have to
(want to) use outlook.

Maybe that makes me old fashioned. Maybe I'm the only one that this stuff
bothers. If so, I appologize. But I'm not sure what the purpose of having
a digest mode if it makes it harder to consider, evaluate and respond to
messages.

Rick

Richard,

Most modern email systems will let you create folders. And then create
rules that will automatically file stuff in those folders.
