Al,

GREAT idea as far as who could fund the thing...!  But I don't see the
funding as the obstacle.

Here's the thing:  It's the writing and MAINTENANCE of the FAQ that is the
major obstacle, IMV.  Funding could help, by providing a small stipend to
the folks that take ownership of different sections.  But an FAQ will be
only partially useful, unless a massive amount of "elbow grease" is
volunteered.
