Here are the 'gotchas' that I have found to explain most of the QNTC
problems that I have encountered:

1) Target machines must be W2K or WNT. (No experience with XP[Xtremely
Porus] but it should work.)

2) Userid and Password of signed on OS/400 profile must be valid on
Windoze box and have access to any share you intend to use.

3) Netserver domain must match domain used on Windoze. I haven't seen
the problem Walden mentions re: Exceeding 12 characters in the domain
name but I've not used any that long.

4) Netserver must be running.

5) And my favorite: If the windoze PCs are members of a true domain
(distinguished from a workgroup) then the Userid and Password of the
signed on OS/400 user must be valid in the Domain. Any profile local to
the Windoze workstation is IGNORED.

Note that the somewhat related SBMNWSCMD has an optional parameter to
specify local user profile rather than the Domain profile.
