What a F***ing nightmare!  That's my point, PC based accounting, repeat,
accounting, software is client dependent.  The AS/400 is, big IS, an accounting
platform.

No, NO, No, the DB -AND- the application is centrally located.

Just imagine if every web client had to have web server code at the desktop to
run.  No, the server is the server, the client should not -NEED- the
application.
