A DB2 database or a text file ??

If it's a text file, copy it to a physical file, send it to a PC, and import
it to the palm pilot - your reader software or a product like documents to
go can automate the PC side of it.

DB2 - try DB2 everyplace from IBM - comes for free with their Workpad range
- and a trial is downloadable from
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/db2/everyplace/
