Interview with Buell Duncan

Buell Duncan, General Manager of IBM's eServer iSeries will be in Toronto on 
February 12th, ie tomorrow, and he'll have 30 minutes available during his busy 
schedule to participate in a media interview.

Myself and another TUG director will take part at this interview.

If you have any question you would like us to ask Buell, send me a note 
throught this list or via private e-mail. I could then post the answer(s) on 
this list after the interview.
The question(s) will have to reach me before 7:30am tomorrow as it will be the 
time I will leave home for the IBM Road Show.

Sorry for the so short notice, but I just thought some people would like that 
oportunity anyway.

Buell can speak to strategies for reducing costs of managing the server 
environment and key iSeries technology areas like logical partitioning, total 
cost of ownership, Linux and the integrated Microsoft environment.

Some background on Buell:  his organization is responsible for the mid-market 
server sector within IBM, a division with over 250,000 active customers 
worldwide.  Prior to heading up the iSeries server division he was General 
Manager, IBM Global Business Partners, a position responsible for the 
relationship with IBM's extensive network of 45,000 Business Partners around 
the world.  Buell has been with IBM since 1975, giving him a unique perspective 
on the myriad of changes in the  industry since that time.
